Week 3 Thursday night Game - Pitch Flooded

For the first time in 11 years of the competition, the Astro pitch was unplayable due to extremely poor playing conditions last night. The Ref had to call off the games due to the pitch being flooded.

All games will be rescheduled to a later date - captains will contacted shortly.

Thank you for your understanding on the matter.

Week 3 update - Mouldies

Based on conversations with some of the Team Managers last week, it was decided that players can now were moulded studded soccer boots during the game if they wish.

Certain conditions such as poor wheather do create the need for extra grip and improve the quality of play for players.

Interbank Soccer & UCD do not recommend soccer boots or mouldies on the Astro turf. The rule was placed to protects players from injury, for example, studs getting stuck the astro grass and damaging the players knee when turning. However, the choice is now up to the players. The Ref will have discreation ask a player to change boot if certain moudlies are deemed unfit for the pitch and game.

Any player who conducts a reckless challenge or high feet with moudlies with be given a red card.  The rules are in place to make sure we all get into work the next day injury free.  Thank you

Great Start to Interbank 2017

Well done to all captains and managers on getting their teams organised for a great start to the competition.

Just a reminder to check the website every Friday evening for league updates and fixtures.

It is recommended that teams uses to organise players and fixtures.

The AIB innovation and AIB ANALYTICS fixture will be reschuled for a later date -

2 games on Thursday evening. First game at 6:30 - AIB Commercial Banking V AIB Corporate Banking

ULSTER V Deutsche moved to week 7

The Interbank Soccer Tournament will have 3 Referees this year, Stephen, James, and Sean.

Key point - Avoid injuries during the competition by not wearing Studded boots, please use astro runners.

Every year we get at least 2/3 players who turn on their ankle and incur serious damage to their knee or ankle. It's not worth the risk- Wear astro runners for an astro surface.

In order to avoid any Jersey Colour clashes during your Interbank soccer campaign.  Green bibs can be made available from the referee.  If you think you may need them, please contact me to ensure their availability on the night.

To note...  Each team must wear a consistent set of jersey colours for each game.

The wearing of Shin Guards is highly recommended for all players.. not matter how good or bad you are..
